Phil and Maria Carney have served as lead pastors for over forty years. They began in 1981, planting a church in Southern Nevada. They came to Oregon in 1990 and pastored First Assembly in Coquille for twelve years. They went to Pendleton in 2002 and pastored Pendleton First for twenty years. They retired last October of 2022 and continue to serve the local church and pastors as a source of encouragement and a resource for church health and impact.


Phil served the OMN as a regional Presbyter for seventeen years.

Zory Kirakossian is the Executive Director and Lead Pastor of the Portland Men’s Campus of Adult & Teen Challenge. Zory served as an Associate Pastor of Worship and Tech at Sound Life Church in Tacoma before serving with Adult & Teen Challenge. Zory entered Teen Challenge in 2015 where he met Jesus and discovered his call to ministry. He is an alumnus of Northwest University where he studied Ministry & Leadership. Zory is married to Aveada and father to their daughter Tessa. They currently live in Estacada, OR.
